NOT PLEASED BUT SOMETHING.

What a strange place. Great for kids. These are good, Julian, but I agree that there are other shots to be found there if you have the time. I look forward to seeing the fruits of your return.

That place is amazing... I would LOVE to live there...

I always wondered where that bridge was my grandparents had a painting of it on the wall which my grandfather had picked up in the war for 3 shillings from a junk shop when he was posted to Cornwall in the war The house is different now!! My aunt put the picture into auction on his death thinking it might make £20 to £30 sold for £11,800 it cracking shots

David that does not surprise me at all. Cornwall was of course where British art was so prevalent in it's making throughout the early to mid 20th century. the likes of Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth, Peter Lanyon,Naum Gabo, Terry Frost, Bernard Leach, Winifred Nicholson, Christopher Wood the list goes on and on. I wonder who did paint that picture. The person my parents new who lived on the rock was a painter but not that well known.
Interesting story Dave.

Something dad never asked his sister Dad was told the guide price jumped from £30 to £9000 to £15000 after it was seen by the auction house in cambridge and sent to Sothebys in london to be sold I must admit Grandad always said it was worth a lot we all thought he was joking

Looks like something from a Yes album cover - what a location!
