Critique Welcomed Nothing To Do With Coldplay

Some bloke was filming a music video. It was a dream sequence in which mustard battled ketchup. About 50 girls involved, one of whom was my Meg. (Ketchup.) At one point the director told all the girls they had to move their belongings (bags, backpacks, parents, etc.) because they might be visible in the video.

So all the girls scampered down the hill, mustard and ketchup alike, to move their stuff. However, these two girls stood there a while, looking bewildered first at each other and then at the other girls.

I thought at the time, they must not have any bags or belongings to move. But when I showed Meg this picture and she said, "Oh that's the Evans sisters; they never know what's going on." :)

Olympus OM-2n with Zuiko 50/1.8 and Kodak Ektar 100 film.

So many questions Brain, so many questions - love the pop of confused yellow! :D

:D Thanks, Chris. I was considering leaving it unexplained. But someone, I think it was H, recently observed how nice it was to get an explanation behind a picture, so I caved in and explained.

That's great. I'm thankful for the back story, and it brings humour to the shot, although the shot would have been interesting nonetheless.

I hope Meg had a good time. Sounds a laugh.

Thanks, Rob. Yeah, she had a great time. I got a few foties. At the end all the girls changed into white clothing and attacked each other with ketchup and mustard. It was like a massacre. I'll post a fotie or two in upcoming days.

Wonderfully bizarre. And I like the way that the back story makes you think that the image now makes sense!
Yes,...its a bit bizarre isn't it, Pete. I knew as soon as I spotted them I had to get the picture. Got lucky with them both gazing in the same direction. Thanks, Pete.

I may be the one to blame for prattling on about the story behind the photograph, but in this case it really does add to the image. Glad to see you using the OM2n :)
Oh,...so it's all your fault Lesley!;) Anyway, thank you Lesley (and I really do not mind telling the back story.) Also I love that OM2n. A beautiful little camera! And I now understand why it has such appeal among its devotees.
