Nice buy Pete!

I will be looking for something similar for my son soon, I might get to use mine then, when we go out for a walk!

It wasn't listed under "digital cameras" ......... I searched for "filters" looking for a polariser and there it was............ Now I can sell on the D100 and the 28-105 Sigma Lens ............ and I'm in profit :D

You could buy him my D100 with battery grip and a sigma 28-105mm lens Alfie ;)

Congratulations! Love it when someone fails to list something properly, and you can snap up a bargain!

I had a similar good run of luck buying an 8mm movie camera last year on EBAY.

The camera was listed with the manufacturers name spelled wrong - probably an auto correcting spell checker - so no one saw it but me, and I bagged a mint model, in leather case, with film still it, it for peanuts! :)

A rare find, as it was the same model that filmed the infamous footage of the assassination of JFK

Sometimes I'll deliberately misspell what I'm looking for when I do an E-Bay search. For example, Voitlander,,... Voightlander,... Voigtleander, is often misspelled. Haven't gained too much through this tactic but it does work from time-to-time.
