The sun finally made an appearance this afternoon, so I headed North to Oceanside, and it's famous beach cottages.

Thx - was tempted to go B&W, but the cross processed look really suits the theme I think

The high cirrus ice clouds were just nuts this afternoon - CPL really helped make them pop

Was hoping for a nice sunset, but the marine layer came in and ruined it!!

Ah, well, I agree with the cross-processed color treatment over the B&W. The marine layer is going to be our curse for the next few months, I'm afraid...

I like it Chris. I was looking at this sort of PP last night prompted by the iPhone stuff and the toy camera simulations. With the right subject, it works well.

I also prefer the color image. The CP does enahce the cirrus clouds but it also makes that jet contrail a little distracting.

The CP works really well compliment the image, this is actually something I would like to look at in a diner rather than the usual drivel that they put up.

I like the con-trail Chris. I think it adds to the image rather than distracting from it.
