Old Man of the Woods

It was my non-working day today and my husband worked at home. I don't know if we could have got out, but we currently have two stray cars in the drive belonging to people who didn't make it...

I wanted to walk up the lane, but it was like the cresta run - so I spent nearly three hours on our neighbour's land. I was worried I would only "see" what I have photographed there before in the snow, but it was all quite different.

It was a very long time ago and I was in Frank and Peggy Spencer's latin formation team. We used to do a lot of unusual work - Kentucky Fried Chicken advert, National Express, The Two Ronnies. Monty Python did a short series under the title of Rutland Weekend Television and there was a sketch titled Kung Dancing. We were supposed to dance as normal and then start karate chopping each other before falling to the ground. Of course... all the other girls fell elegantly, while I fell flat on my face with my knickers on show. The director kept saying "keep rolling, everyone stay still", while people just fell about laughing.

I think the first time I saw John Cleese, he was wearing a wig and taffeta gown...
