Pretty close, Pete. How'd you know? (Actually I was standing in the middle of the road, endangering my person for the sake of my craft, and trying to avoid becoming road kill.)

I had also intended to shoot a shot or two of a local bowling alley, also in the Googie style, which was located just a few hundred yards from The Parasol. Alas, "was" is all too accurate an operating verb in this case, since the place is unfortunately gone, replaced by your common or garden "big box" store and tilt up walls.
