This is a detail from a series of shots of the new Graffiti on the hoarding beside the construction site for the re-building of the lost palace in Potsdam. The young lad is waiting for a tram and I'm sure he has no idea of what is behind him but the positioning was perfect!

Absolutely perfect position, a nice shot made great by a single person in shot in my opinion!
It pleases me that everything is straight too, even the stuff that's behind the board that isn't straight on is still straight up ...

Thanks Hamish. Yes, I like the glow effect although I'm sure I'll tire of it. I have now started to limit it though and in this instance I've only left it on the border and in the area above the hoarding. As I mentioned, this is a detail of a larger photo I'd taken when I spotted him sitting there. I'd come back to this area on Sunday after seeing the lighting on the graffiti on Saturday but having gone out without a camera. I'm glad I did now. Here's the original shot.

I think I like the original shot the best. I think the smallness of the person contrasted against the bigness of the industry going on behind the wall makes the notion of tolerance that much more meaningful. (I don't speak German, so I'm just assuming "Toleranz" = Tolerance.)
