One of the very few shots I've managed to take this year, I can't say why I was at the Excel only that I was forced to go by my wife ( who happens to like Star Trek!) any way I kinda liked the lighting as I was walking back in after having a smoke ( surrounded by Klingons, Borgs and various doubles of Pickard and Kirk)

Not sure even if I have the tones right here as I don't even have the monitor set up correctly.

aaaayyyyy Vic!! Hows tricks, long time!
Well I like it, the tones look pretty good to me! I like the chap sitting down and his shadow...

Thanks guys, I really like the lighting on the guy in the wheel chairs tee-shirt I looks much better large.

Life is treating me well thanks Hamish, if I could only motivate myself to get out and start taking pictures again life would be better!

you have defo been missed around these parts Vic, i to love that shot alot

Thats the fella I like!

good news Vic, and well there seem to be a few folks cropping up with photoblock... I even gave it its own forum
i just make my self poor when it happens to me! Have done recently by buying too many manual m42 lenses ... I now have about 10 of the things that span about 50 years, 1 date back to 1938!! So far that has yielded about 20 photos ... That's what I call a low ppps (photos per pound spent) ratio ;)

It works for me Vic. And I like the toning a lot and I can see why you were attracted to the light. The choice of framing really emphasises the space and I like the way it reflects the doors at the end of the corridor / mall especially with the slightly wet floor leading you in. A super shot all round. :)

Good to have you back Vic and what a great image to make your comeback with. Like the dark exposure inside and the way it frames the slightly overexposed outside. Nice lead in lines and nice the way the line horizontal line splits the image in two.

Thanks again guys, I really will do something this weekend.....even if it's some still life stuff.
