I went to collect my latest Hexar shots from Boots The Chemist, after an hour wait in the nearest bookshop, which I spent looking at wonderful photos from great photographers. When I got to the counter to collect my photos, I was met by the woman I never see, the woman who does the developing. She said, "I'm very sorry, but our machine broke, and ruined your negatives. There will be no charge". No charge? Damn bloody right! I got a CD of scans of mangled images.
That said, I quite like this one! By far the best of the bunch.
I'll never use Boots again. I'm still annoyed at them losing Rhona's first film when she was four years old! More recently I've had the wrong person's photos, and almost half the time I make my way there, their machine is broken. Luckily there is a Kodak shop in town, though further away. Worth the hassle. Farewell, Boots!
