What film Hamish? How old?

I like 'em all but especially #2. There is something romantic about that image and I like how your eye follows the tree down to the cathedral and then to Hannah. Very nice indeed.

I like all 3 Hamish but for different reasons. I certainly agree with Brian's comment on number 2, especially the way she is looking back at you. There there is the humour in Number 1. And fantastic movement in the last one. I bet that would work well in contrasty B&W.

Cheers Brian!

Now your asking ... Ill have to dig out the negs, no idea how out of date it would have been though ... it was a one of a few rolls that Milan gave me when he came round here and bought my d300 off me... I dont think he knew how old they were, so i certainly didnt! :)

WOOOOWW!!! Another great set Hamish! They're all fantastic!!
And that B&W conversion ........ [sigh] just the mutts nuts!! The dogs dinner!!
Great suggestion pete, great shot Hamish!
Very impressed with this thread :)

My huess is that it is because the bands of green tones were just that, green. But in B&W we see very distinct tones and as they form semi-horizontal bands they get interpretted as speed. They are in the colour version but they are just not as conspicuous.

This and the BBQ thread make me really crave a bit of summer ... I think I get SAD somtimes... I bloody hate the winter, especially January!

More tree shots Hamish - you've been holding back on us! :D

Like 1 and 2 colour and 3 B&W - good call Pete

Great low perspective on 1 'n 2 BTW :)
