Parade of Lights - San Diego Bay

It's the yearly parade of lights - where local boat owners over-deck their craft with lights, get boozed-up, and entertain the frozen crowds along the shores of the bay.

It's always a laugh, and the kick off for Christmas for the Dodkin household.

It's f-dark, but I managed a couple of ISO 6400 shots

boats overflowing with lights and beer? that must be fun to watch! i like the first one, the city in the background gives it more of a sense of place than the second.

I believe the Coastguard has cracked down on the amount of Eggnog being consumed onboard - but their were still some lively sounding Santas shouting to the crowds.
