It's actually the hump in the turtles back that causes that shape on the horizon.

Excellent Dan. I that eastly wind which is the dreaded wind for that Bay as it comes straight in. The winter easterlys or southeast winds mean the boats cannot leave the harbour, and get quite a buffering at the moorings..
