Passing Through

I'm trying to make out if you're traveling right-to-left or left-to-right. Whatever direction you're going its a terrific shot, Pete. (And I'm guessing you're traveling right-to-left.)

I think left to right (this is a fun game!). I can't help myself not to take photos from a moving train, most of which don't turn out too well, but it's fun to do. This one gives a good snapshot of the town, its domestic and civic architecture, and a bridge!

Great image. He is standing quite still but being a bit wobbley:D He is travelling from left to right, 'cause as an Englishman, he is likely to be seated on the left side of the train and naturally he is peeping out through his left side window as the train pulls out of the station at a slow troddle. Therefore a slow shutter on whichever camera he drags along:rolleyes:

I wouldn't hazard a guess as to whether or not your deduction is correct, but you sure sound like a Viking Sherlock Holmes. ;)

A Deerstalker with horns, now there's a thing! ;)

Left to right and moving at a moderate speed (1/30s at f1:8.0); it doesn't stop there. We'd been sitting on the other side of the train facing the rear and I had an isle seat but I moved across to the vacant single window seat to take a few shots.

Thanks all. :)

What a shot and very unusual. Obvious, that it was taken out of a train, but then... Really nice and detectives are required to figured out the details
