Talking briefly about my old Epson 4870 scanner yesterday set my mind off on one of it’s tangents, the end result of which had wondering what happened with that site. I know the old (but informative) forms were mothballed and a while later the seem to disappear. When I looked for it recently I found a revamped version but the most recent updates were from about 2 years ago. Vincent Oliver did a great job with it. I hope all’s well with him.

I was unfamiliar with his site, but you're right, it seems to have stalled in 2021.

Thanks for looking, Pete. It was a good resource for reviews and user info/experiences when I first got my flatbed in the early noughties. I guess all things run their course with the passage of time
