Physalis

WOW.........now that is excellent work Rense, very artistic, i love no 2 with the reflection .........!!

i use these as a garnish to desserts, but the outter leaves / shells has usually dried up and wrapped around the fruit, which is much more orange when i get them

Would love to see more of these (if there are any)

Gorgeous! The red and gold on the first shot really make it for me - and that lovely DOF

Not sure I've seen these berries before - where do they come from?

I thought #2 was best then I looked again at 3 and I think I like that one most. They're all superb, Rense.

To piggy-back on Chris's question,...what are these berries used for?

Stunning. We have some of these in our house this week, as my wife likes to draw such things in great detail. She's very impressed with these images. Well done!

Thanks a lot guys! It is Physalis alkekengi, and they are use solely for ornamental purposes.... They're called Chinese lantern, but in good shape the bells are bright orange. Google it, and you'll probably recognise them!
