They got a canon lens mount in for one of the Red Epics the other week, so i brought my gear in for a play last night. There is a switch on the grip for stills or movie mode but i couldn't get it to shoot stills. After reading through the manual i found a note: This function is not currently active. Typical Red. Shot some fire at 120fps, looks cool played back at 24fps. Unfortunately i can't show anything i shot as i technically shouldn't have been shooting it....lol. I think the only reason i got away with shooting it at all was because i was using an Epic so i must have been allowed.
