Portrait of Rhona with EOS 1100D

Managed to prize it out of her hands, attach her 18-25mm lens, and took a quick snap. I've never used a portrait lens before, and even though I was hasty and the image is not quite in focus, I'm impressed with the dof. She's doing a project at school with art models, and is excited about this lens. She has joined the school Camera Club, and seems quite into it.

Sorry, I got the lens wrong. It was the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II - whatever that is...

The 50 f1.8 a plastic noisy lens. I have one and it is a brilliant little lens. Gives nice blurry bits Rob.
