Private light aircraft

There is an old disused (by the military) airfield close to our home at a place called North Cotes here in Lincolnshire and today and tomorrow they are having a shindig. It is now owned and used by a local flying club where I took these photographs today.

That is a fine set of detail studies Shaun, very good.
Many hours of polishing of chrome and paintwork must have gone into making the vehicles look that good.
 
Chris LOL I certainly hope so but then again it would be fun trying to make them do so. An aviation friend of mine once told me that anything will fly if you put a big enough engine in it.

Dave, indeed, there must be some serious dedication involved in making these aircraft look this good. I remember when I rode motorcycles and spent hours cleaning and polishing all of the alloy. No longer I'm afraid.
