Lovely colours and a super subject. A tiny bit more DoF would be nice though.

Sadly I wasn’t able to get the same angle as before on these sundew Pete, but I did try to stop down some more to I think without checking f.8/11 on this one
And as my current enjoyment continues snapping the house flowers and plants, here’s some more of the sundews and a new orchid addition

I find they have much more impact with the extra DoF, and the compositions are stronger. What do you think?

I think I concur Pete- although I prefer the compositional angle and effect of the background on the original, but that’s the orientation of the sundews traps.

And we’re enjoying the results. I especially like the first of the shots of the white orchid and the way that combines the fine detail with the structure of the bloom, Wes.
