A session without much luck i came across these poppies, at the lost gardens of Heligan. It was the light rather than the flowers themselves. This is were i would love a seriously good wide aperture lens, which in reality is far to expensive for me to acquire.
Plus the camera I have with a 4/3 sensor does not help. This may well be partly why I enjoy longer focal lengths helping to create a shallower depth of field. I put tubes on the 75mm f1.8 and 25mm f1.4, to create something different than what otherwise can be, with what I used. Still not certain of the end result, but some things do appear to have worked.
