I like this camera! I've had it for less than a day and I can already feel my self gelling with it!
Firstly, its light, very light... Hannah said she thought it felt fake! I know better, its the magnesium alloy shell that makes it light. Its also this shell that makes it feel solid! It also fits the hand perfectly, the elongated grip seems to fit my middle finger perfectly. I find that same middle finger interferes with the lens on the Yashica T5, not on this camera!
Here is mine - in the less "cool" silver ... I don't care about that!

As you can see it has a nice wide 28mm 2.8 lens... I can't comment on the quality as I'm only half way through the first roll ... The reviews read positive! And photos here look good Ricoh GR1/v/s photos post here - Rangefinderforum.com
I shall post some of my own in due course.

-/+2ev exposure comp, a switch for flash modes, a mode button for various focus modes (single, "snap" and infinity - snap sets the camera at 2m for snap shooting). The red button in the on/off and the timer button sets for self timer and 'T'.

Mine is a 'date' so it has this control (which i doubt I will ever use)

And all this on a very small, very pocketable body. Very pleased already, my only concern is that there are enough features to make me need to think I need to worry about more than just composition... which was the thing I like so much about the Yashica. I should have the roll finished in the next couple of days ...
The manual can be found here on butkus Ricoh GR 1, Ricoh GR1s,* instruction manual, user manual, PDF manual, free manuals
When I take some shots they will be found here Ricoh GR1 - a set on Flickr
