I shot nothing but black and white film for years, but I do love my colour as well. I've only corrected it here as the Sony tends to veer towards yellow, but even I am wondering if this is a bit OTT...
I only started using it when I saw Dave (I think) use it a few weeks ago. I think I've used it twice so far, but only to tone down detail in leaves/trees in the background. I'm not brave enough to put it on the main subject.
I think I recognise this, I have some similar shots of a steam carousel that turns up a events on a regular basis over the summer.
They're designed to be a bit over the top, so I don't think you can go too wrong pushing the colors.
It may well be the one. This was at one of the summer shows when we used to take our ferrets there for PR. I must admit that we don't bother now because of the rules laid down by the insurance company - the public aren't allowed to handle the ferrets, so what's the point? We took them instead to the Jubilee fete on our village green and handed them out with abandon - even to toddlers.
I have seen a carousel with the same horses, but I think they were in pale pastel shades. Yes... this one was very colourful. I'll have a go at the glamour filter later. Many thanks for the suggestion
