SANDY BEACH

Sandy beach is a small beach within the outer harbour and not a beach when the tide is high. It is though useful for the boats to be moored at high water and they will lay down on the sand as the tide recedes, so the weed and encrustation of barnacles can be scrubbed off, ready to be painted by the time the tide flows in to float the boat. Here you get approx six hours working time.

First we had Dougie with Dusty Springfield and now we have you with Sandy Shore! ;)

Super angles here, Julian and the two figures add a nice touch.
Thanks Pete, agree the angles made the image along with the two figures.

As for the references I have too pass, being an era that was passed before my arrival ;)

You don't know Sandy Shore?! You must be young.

Lovely shot, Julian. I like the jaunty angle of the mast, and the two figures help with scale. Interesting story too.
