We have a family of badgers feeding in our garden every night. A couple of years ago we also had another pair from a sett at the bottom of our fields. They were both quite tame and just before we lost Scruff to old age, I managed to stroke his chin while he ate peanuts from a jug. Normally I was too busy to photograph them, but on the longest day of the year, he turned up in broad daylight and I had to rush indoors to get the camera. I was about six feet from him when I took this. There were others where he got too close for me to zoom out. I have since taken some of the wild family in the woods, but they are very tricky and generally don't come out until dusk.
Shot at ISO 4000, so I have kept the shadows darker to avoid noise.
