Thanks people. I turned a corner and saw part of a rainbow on the distant shore, fumbling for the camera it faded. A little boy on holiday was saying to his dad that it was to far for him to walk to get the pot of gold. The the sky started to well up quite dramatically, so took a shot or two. This is my belief but could be wrong. This was hail and not rain which I suspect with the hail above the clouds , did help to light the sky above the clouds. Just a guess. Anyway maybe I got my little shot of gold this day and didn't have to walk too far, if at all.
