Just for Show Shayla group shoot.

When involved with the local photography group we had a random model come in for members to practice lighting situations with.
I never sourced models for the group myself and in fact portraiture photography is my least favourite genre, but I was quite pleased with this one. Original representation and result.

I like the close up one but I would've cloned out the white dot below her bottom lip.

That's a nice PP job on the skin and eyes Gavin

So how many folks attend a shoot like this?

Thanks Glen. I did try her without the crystal piercing but she looked a little 'fish mouth'. On the larger image it doesn't appear so distracting when obvious to what it is but I agree, at this size it looks a little misplaced.

At those meetings we had between 8 and 14 people turn up Chris. The models were normally acquired by one member as she went through her weekly routine, such as a girl from the hairdressing salon, her gardener, the window cleaner, the postman yada yada. Because they had no previous experience they were often overwhelmed with the amount of attention they'd receive. This girl was the only one who remained on my hard drive as the rest were deleted as soon as home because of the stiffness.

I do have one shoot coming up that I'm looking forward to very much, a student from the Royal London Ballet who apparently can't wait to be photographed. I've some low key long exposure ideas that should work a treat with that one and more my cup of tea. As soon as its done I'll be putting them up.

I'm looking forward to them already...
