Yes, very bonny. These flowers, which go out their way to attract bees, seem to also put the stamen and pollen out of reach of the poor bees. Other flowers have landing lights, arrows and whatnot, to guide the hapless bee to the nectar...As Woody Allen said, "I'm at two with nature".

There were some really stunning blooms at the show, but I liked this one for it's tight symmetry and graduated color.

I tried to isolate the bloom against the white table, but there were leaves and another bloom in the line of sight, so I trailed a few different f stops to get the main flower nice and sharp, and the rest pleasantly OOF.

Lighting was artificial, as it was indoors in a large hall - so I did a WB off of the table cloth during PP to get that piece corrected accurately.
