Hi all from Newport, South Wales.

My name is Julian and i have been into photography for about 8 years. I like all sorts and have no particular favourite aspect, Event, sport, landscape, still life etc...i am eager to learn and love looking at other peoples pics and learning from them.

I do a bit of event photography with a friend who organises Professional dart player evenings. I take pictures of attendees with the Pro dart player and sell them the signed image...it helps fund the extras to fill my camera bag, as i always seem to need something else..:)

i look forward to learning from and making friends with you all...

Julian

Cheers Rob..:)

Welcome to the forum Julian!
I know that always a hole in the camera bag that needs filling feeling all too well!

These darts events sound interesting ... I covered the opening of a darts place once, I didn't know any of the 'faces' there ... The one woman, girlfriend of one of the players, was aparently a tv presenter on some sky tv football program... her name escapes me now but she was being mobbed by the blokes there! Was very funny to watch, especially not having the first clue who she was!

Anyway, I'm babbling
Welcome again :)

welcome to this awesome forum Julian, great to see someone else from wales around these parts

Daz

I know the feeling Hamish, i'm not a huge fan of darts and when i go to these events i see all these people in awe of the players and dont really get it....

Daz your lucky, you come from a beautiful part of Wales,..

Croeso Julian!

Hope I got that right? :)

Great idea doing the Darts events - I've done the same thing with people doing track days in their cars - keeps some dosh in the toys fund, and 'er indoors can't complain when it all pays for itself - in theory :D

Looking forward to seeing some of your shots and chinwagging about photography

Da iawn Chris, your Welsh is good!!

Great welcome guys, Thank you.:)

Hi again!
I'm too busy with orders. Too many weddings, too many fashion shots, too many portrait photosessins. But I'm happy. The more I 'm shooting, the better my experience. Moreover, we started in our studio the project "Photonight". It is for photographers, who just started to shoot, who wants to know, how to work in any kind of situations [i feel, that I wrote wrong, but can't chose the right words, sorry]. I'd like to show you one backstage picture, which I can name: "Do you want to be at his place?" :)
