Nice stuff Chris. I like the first one especially. Also impressed with the VONS sign. (I myself wouldn't have thought to photograph something so common in SoCal--nice photo.) That creamery must be pretty nice in the evening too, with all that neon.

Thanks chaps - the signs really came to life with a little cross processing in Photoshop - all Pete's fault!

The Theater in #1 has just been restored - might return later for an evening shot, and get #3 again as well. (Good idea Brian)

The Vons in #2 is a mid-century style store - that's what made me look at it in the first place - it's a cool looking building

#3 is an ice cream parlor, with a full sized cow statue on the pavement outside!

#4 is the tail section of a military helicopter - on the military base on Coronado Island - They had a few on display yesterday during the annual Festival Of Speed vintage car races - held on the main runway!
