Thanks everyone - I think he looks a little zombie-esque with the straight arm and straight leg pose
The mural is fairly recent - and appears to have been painted by Chris Head and RJ Ward. It was partially funded with a grant from the Oceanside Arts Commission.
Very striking in color - but it was a dull day, and the colors didn't really pop in the picture, so I'll plan a revisit
