That is indeed a fine tree. And I like that the roof of the petrol station looks like it has caught in the vanes of the windmill.

It is a yew tree. A well-known local landmark, only about 20 feet tall, but it can be seen from miles away. No idea how it got there, hilltops are not their usual habitat.
