Thanks Chris. I found that having getting used to shoot in a slightly more "hostile" city, the tricks and techniques I picked up are surprisingly transferrable.
I found myself more confident shooting in Taipei and acted a bit more aggressively than I otherwise would have. I am not sure this is due to my London training, me blending in better (I was born there), or simply people are less aware of street photography so they are less sensitive. I rarely got "evil stares" when I shot there. The only occasion I remember was when I took the photo of a family of western tourists.
