Critique Welcomed Snipers

I don't admire people who do this kind of photography. I call them snipers because they use their long lenses to shoot images of people from the safety of distance. They are standing on the wall of a planter so they can shoot over the heads of passers-by.

I shot this image on the day of the annual US Open Surf Championship in Huntington Beach. The downtown area of HB is a real happening place during the several days of the event, with many thousands of visitors each day.

I shot these snipers with a short lens: My XA3, loaded with Tri-X.

Well done. I have to put the next roll into my XA. The sunglasses gives give them protection, where it may hurt as well.

Well, one passing member of the public is attempting to head-butt one of them where it hurts! They deserve it too!
Agreed, Rob.

Thanks Detlef. Get that XA out and shoot with it man!
Na he is worshipping the big white lens :D The other guy needs to get past his belly

Good capture Brian.
Thanks, Julian,...much appreciated.
You prefer being up "close and personal" Brian...
Dougie I admire street photographers who have the courage to shoot strangers up close.
