Snow Horses

I really don't know about this one. It was the image I wanted, but it's been so long since I used Silver Efex, I seem to have lost the feel for it. Plus... I just didn't know where to go with the tones. I was hanging off the gate in the middle of a snow storm and I had the impression of a lot of white with the horses almost as though they had been sketched in pencil. I don't know if that makes sense and I don't know if that is what I have achieved. I may need to go away and come back in a few days. It's still snowing outside...

I like it. I agree with Chris; try a print. I sense you will then see that you have captured a sketched look. Of course, it's your vision and you may not agree. But then you would be wrong...

Cheers Stephen! I'm not sure I really have a vision. A print would be nice, but we don't have a decent printer and even then, only limited wall space. At the moment the kitten is eyeing up the handful of fibre based prints that I do have in the study. Nothing is sacred...
