Taken late this afternoon amid sporadic snow showers - this is the view from Sedona's skate park!

X-Pro1 and 35mm Lens - f/13 ISO200 - PP in NIK Silver FX

Thanks Brian - just stunning light today, and bloody freezing (again)

Agreed, stunning and very very Ansel Mr Dodkin...the pp really expresses the mood that comes with snow storms over the mountains, we just get very grey, very heavy dull skies when we have snow, I think we live under a permanent Big Soft Box over here atm, one that gives rise to constant rain.......

Thanks chaps - I was resting my feet on a copy of Ansel's 'Photographs of the Southwest' on the coffee table as I edited the shot - much have percolated through via osmosis ;)

The whole day had wonderful light coming and going - and I'd scouted the location during the skate-shot, and had used my Photographers Ephemeris software to work out the best time in the afternoon for lighting.

I was lucky enough to arrive as this snow shower passed over the rim
