The image itself is nice, but how was it created? There's a massive amount of colour noise which is very distracting. I'm not sure whether it's a result of saving and down-scaling the image or an aspect of how the image was first taken

Yes I shot that image with a high iso setting for a bit of grain effect. From memory I used a Samyang 35mm f/1.4 lens for that photo. I like the abstract/soft/blurred effect shot wide open.

Just my personal style.
