Our daughter Frankie is at sixth form college and her teachers had one of them stories to tell that come once in a blue moon.

She's a young teacher and was due to be married at Alton Towers sometime this year. AT / Alton Towers called her and asked if she'd move her wedding day, she said no.
A few days later AT towers called again and said an important client was offering to pay for all dresses and suits if she'd move her special day, she said no.
Another few days and this 'special client' had offered to pay for the wedding, the honeymoon and all costs incurred on her special day. At this point she was apparently considering it and began to pull the 'poker face', and so said no.
Last week AT called again and said their 'special client' would pay for everything including clearing whatever mortgage they had. She said yes but wanted to know who the special client was in the deal.

Its Posh and Becks. They want the whole park for one of their children's birthday parties.

The teacher and her fiancé only bought their house last year and had a £230K mortgage!

I'm glad you said that Hamish because I thought they had too. Just goes to show how useless some people are if they can't book their own child's birthday party enough in advance to not have to throw money at it. I mean, its not as though your child's birth date moves from year to year?

I didn't post this to be political but just to give a little bit of what goes on in the household. If anything it was to celebrate the teachers luck and not to give ammunition against poor Posh and Becks. Bless em.

Fess up!! The finger firmly points at the daughters teacher if this is what it seems. I just asked our daughter again who is not at all impressed by the story, that she said it to the class. The truth will soon come out with us being such a compact community.
