Something Else You Can Do At The Getty

Thank you, Rob, Pete and Julian. I got lucky again in that it took me a while to line up the shot (and not completely satisfactorily in the end) since I was halfway up a flight of stairs, kneeling uncomfortably on my bad knee, and extending the C33 through and between the railings whilst trying to see what the focusing screen showed,...all the while just hoping no one else would wander into the frame. That's where I got lucky.

Rob,...about the colors: I know you didn't get a good vibe from the Ektar when you shot it, but its my favorite color film.

Anyway, thanks again chaps. Much appreciated.

The difference is, Brian, that you know how to get the best out of it, and I don't. But I'll get a few more rolls, as I really like what you are doing with it.

Thank you, but I disagree Rob. I'm merely doing straightforward shooting and using the Sunny 16 rule as my exposure guide.

I think Brain has the advantage of CA sunshine, vs Rob's Scottish variety - probably makes the difference in color saturation, warmth etc with the Ektar.

The latitude handling in the shot is very impressive Brian - full sun and lots of shade in shot

Love the lone figure

Thanks, Chris. Yes,...I thought about the Scottish gray sky after I responded to Rob. That may indeed account for Rob's disappointment in the Ektar he shot. Anyway,...thanks again Chris!
