Somewhat Timid Hello from a Younger Hobbyist

Would just like to add my welcome Eric, only just back in after a weekend of emptying bottles and playing golf and looking into the bottom of glasses, and acting like a teenager...........nah not really, but some it is true, in fact most of it. Haven't looked at your work yet but will do as soon as I catch up with all the new posts.

I'll just add that I'm all for the 'young' being creative and this is something that I am actively pursuing with my work in Youth Clubs and Centres so Don't be afraid to post, you will always get a positive review here. If you like what you have done, that is ALL that really counts, if someone else likes it that's a bonus and from the replies I've read so far you got plenty of 'Bonuses' :D:D:D

Eric you may be a young Hobbyist now but if you are serious you may be on your way to becoming a well seasoned professional, or advanced hobbyist, there is no general rule there.
You my friend are the kind of photographer that I enjoy spending time shooting alongside outdoors, I started around the same age as you and I am 31 now, I find it rewarding to share my knowledge & techniques with someone who has a fresh absorbent mind when it comes to the skillful art of photography. Keep it up & keep shooting, you have a naturally inspired gift here and if you choose to you will never find a limit on how good you can get.

I live int he bay area too, there is a plethora of locations around this area where you can really have fun shooting all sorts of random pictures, I recently moved here so I am still getting myself familiar with everything, I am happy to see your work, Tahnks :)

Thank you all for such a kind welcome, I must apologize for not responding for a few days. It's hard to believe a forum like this exists after having spent so much time at DPR. I thank you all for the opportunity to join this friendly community.

So thank you all. Chris, Brian, Tim, Dan, Paul, Hamish, Brodie, Allan, Dave, Laurence, Pete, Jim, Kev, Milan, and Fidel. Wow that's a lot of people. I'll get to individual responses some other time, as I've been overly busy due to a combination of AP courses and personal traumas preventing me from focusing any real attention on photography for the last week or two.
