On the WordPress sharing page, I have the box ticked which asks if I want the share icons on the front page. But they don't show up. Maybe it has something to do with the template I'm using? They do differ in what they allow and don't allow.

Not sure if I can get round this. But at least I have Hugo on every post...

if you go into widgets, what are the options in the right hand column?
Is there a footer widget area?

No, just a sidebar. I'm trying to avoid using a sidebar, but if I change my mind, how would I get Hugo into it?

Is there anything that allows you to edit anything in the footer? there is often somewhere to put a custom bit of code or a "site created by..."
