Spotted this on a street in Torrance while on a walk one day last week during lunch. (No, not Tuesday,...Thursday.:))

It's very pink!

You're right, Rob. Although I'm guessing the owner is young lady whose lifestyle leans toward the Bohemian. It's not too much into the 50's, though. I read that they built this version of the Lark from '59-62.
 
Very pink indeed and seems small for an American car. Did they actually make normal size cars at one time before they realised that unless you had a 5 litre engine it was a real problem?

Yes Paul, the majority of American cars were larger than European or Japanese designs, but small cars occasionally popped out of the American design studios. Perhaps the most well-known of American small cars was the Nash Metropolitan.
