I decided to shrug off all thoughts of lilies and lost film, just throw a roll into the Hex, and go for a walk. Being me, something had to go wrong, and (not for the first time) I put colour film in while forgetting to take the orange filter off. Realising my mistake after THE LAST SHOT, I decided this roll of Sensia 100 was destined for Boots the Chemist's 1-hour development, plus scan to CD.

Some of the shots look good in an orangey-yellowy haze, actually, I think. Some became b&w. The main thing was just letting go for a morning, and blowing a complete roll.

The first two are from inside a corrugated shed in the grounds of the modern art gallery. It is an art installation. Not sure what the joke is.

Looking at these on my iPad, the Abstract of a metal abstract looks much better upside down. So please stand on your head while viewing it :)

Thanks, Pete. Yes, I like the abstracts, pleased with them. And I also like the soft focus in the first. Not a waste of a morning. Cheers.

Superb stuff, those orange ones are a bit odd.Just shows how it would be to take a new world seriously if out of the defines we are conditioned to. Agree fully with Pete's words on the B+W images.

Thanks, Robbie. I've recently returned to focussing on film, so to speak. Trying to master, or at least improve, exposure calculation.

Rob,...the color ones remind me a little of redscale film shot two stops over. (Have you tried redscale? It's an easy DIY.)

The monochromes are excellent.
