Sheep blow-outs?! You've been cornering them too fast! 
Quite some drama to that. Is that the dam towards the top? Hard to image this was shot in January isn't it?

yes that the dam, just visible centre top, i leant today you can drive up to it in summer months when they open the road........so that been added to my check list, yes was taken today, stunning weather across north Wales today, What a refreshing change, especially in January lol

Not sure what sheep eat to cause them to blow off - try standing upwind!
The colours are quite stunning - very spring-like grass.
You could try a negative exposure gradient in RAW processing on the bottom section to tone down the sheep a little.
Hold the presses - I just noticed its's an X10 photo!
If I were your Canon gear, I'd be planning to do away with the X10 in the night - an 'accident'
