Before I even opened this post I just knew the photo was taken with your new 55-200mm. It seems to work pretty good to me! Wonderful colours and tones as well Chris.

Love how the backlighting highlights those wee protuberances around the perimeter of the nopal, Chris. Also the graceful appearance of the lighter-colored protuberances on the flat side of the nopal facing us. The purples in the background and also the purple reflecting off the foreground branch provide a really nice contrast to the greens.

I didn't need to look at this. Adorama screwed up and didn't cancel my order. It shipped yesterday. I called them and they said : "Oopsy..." Actually they were pretty nice about it and are trying to reroute back to them with UPS.
