That 1st one is such a nice shot, nice to see something other then a bird on a branch etc. for a person like me who wouldn't know a cat from a elephant it's nice.

What shutter speed is require to get such a spot on amount of movement?

Here's the Exif from the first shot, but I must say first of all, for me it's more luck than judgement.

Shot in Aperture priority mode and f5.6 for the fastest speed for the given light.
