I do like this PP you are using Paul. With this image I find the dicontinuity between the foreground stalk / flower head and the background disturbing and I don't know where to look. What about a square crop (sorry!) just above the cut stalk?

I see what you mean Pete it works quite well with the square crop I have to agree, it has a bit more structure. However I find the eyeflow over the image quite satisfying.

I'm using a 13" MBP this evening so it might work better on a larger screen / without needing to scroll / zoom out etc.

The PP was in LR and was just a Bleach Bypass preset with a bit of desaturation and grain added. I then used the sharpen narrow edges preset and a bit of fill light.
