Let me tell you what’s actually going on in this photo. It’s not like I went poking around in this bloke’s private life at his place. He was just watching a video on a monitor that was part of an art exhibition. The exhibition is underground, in a little square in my town, and it’s got this brilliant staircase (late ’60s–early ’70s) with a steel-beam handrail that forms these really cool, interwoven geometric patterns.
