The Boat House

fantastic reflections, beautiful light. very nice composition to this.

Wow - early morning?

I love the sharpness of the reflections! Very nice shot. Did someones dock sink there on the lower right? hah.

Now where're talking' ! :D This is a great shot and processing, Peter. Easily the best image of yours I have seen (although to be fair I have not examined everything you have posted lately). You are really getting the hang of the D800 and LR. I love the soft, yet detailed texture of the evergreens on the hill - absolutely perfect.

Keep knocking them out like this my friend.

Thanks for the the kind words guys n' gals, fantastic inspiration to be honest!

This was taken about lunchtime, it was very dull, raining a bit, overcast and grey skies, I'd personally call it a drab day. I'm learning along the way with my newly purchased Lightroom 5. Still lots to learn about it!

The Zeiss 21mm + D800 seem to work well as a combo.

Thanks all :)

20-21mm is a great focal length IMHO. It is quite wide without being so wide as to make everything look as if it hyper-wide. The Fuji 14mm (equiv 21mm FOV) stays glued to my X-E2 most of the time - a great FL.
