Now where're talking' ! This is a great shot and processing, Peter. Easily the best image of yours I have seen (although to be fair I have not examined everything you have posted lately). You are really getting the hang of the D800 and LR. I love the soft, yet detailed texture of the evergreens on the hill - absolutely perfect.

This was taken about lunchtime, it was very dull, raining a bit, overcast and grey skies, I'd personally call it a drab day. I'm learning along the way with my newly purchased Lightroom 5. Still lots to learn about it!
The Zeiss 21mm + D800 seem to work well as a combo.
20-21mm is a great focal length IMHO. It is quite wide without being so wide as to make everything look as if it hyper-wide. The Fuji 14mm (equiv 21mm FOV) stays glued to my X-E2 most of the time - a great FL.
