thanks for looking

I like these a lot. At first I thought #1 was my fav. Then I briefly flirted with #2 as my fav. Then I settled on #3 as my fav. I think I like 3 best because the the index and middle finger positions suggest movement. Indeed, where these fingers appear to be going suggests a point of view about to be expressed by their owner for the benefit of others through well-known and provocative sign language. I believe the concept behind that 3rd image is something to do with a message from the proletariat for the benefit of the bourgeoisie.;) Very nice set indeed!

Yeah! Your good at this sort of thing arent you!
I'm with Brian, I wouldn't have notice what he has pointed out I don't think, but now he has ... I like it!!
So what's all the crap on your hands then?
Or do they just look like that after you finish work!
You had better wash them before you come round, that is not suitable cleanliness for developing film! ;)

Hi Tom, I went through the same process as Brian and ended up wit No 3 as the favourite. But, taken singly I would go with No 1 but in a different context - think Egyptian mummy (mind, sticking plasters were not commonly used as part of the wrapping procedure until at least the 7th Dynasty I believe :) )!! Excellent ideas though and very effective lighting and PP.

I'm going to buck the trrend and say I prefer #2..

Actually #1 is interesting as the skin on the palm almost looks unreal with that lighting.

You could also develop this idea with hands of the elderly...'hands full of character' as my mother would have described threm.

Those are working hands for sure. Can't decide which I like but I might suggest putting all three into a tryptich and see how that looks.

These are very powerful images Tom - very nice lighting

Good to see you posting again Tom!
Very good mate, live the treatment. :)

The angle of the nail on the index finger of the first shot looks like the finger has been broke/dislocated a bit, which makes the image a bit disturbing to me.... But in a good way!!!, which is why I like that one best:D.

The last one I keep thinking the cigarette is missing:p:o.
