If I could only see the top of the door frame maybe I could decide if the entire door is behind a sheet of plexiglass.

The reflection along the bottom had me confused initially until I saw what seemed to be hardware for holding a protective shield in place. It's a great shot Gianluca! Thanks for sharing.

the narnia style door to the other world threw me too. at first i thought you took this from inside the car with reflections on the window, but they stopped suddenly at the door frame. the chairs randomly sitting on the front stoop adds to the surrealism of the scene. interesting photo, you kept me looking at it for awhile.

Thank uou, @Gary R. Smith and @Beth Anthony. I would have preferred it if there hadn’t been the plexiglass – it would have been easier to take the photo. I think the picture is a little surreal (as Beth says), or perhaps more precisely metaphysical. Unfortunately, it’s not quite strong enough to speak entirely for itself, hence the need for a slightly ironic title.
